The Mobile App Sales team has big ambitions and global reach. You will engage deeply with sophisticated mobile-first businesses and drive change to accelerate Google’s position in the fast-growing and strategic business of app install.

As a Creative Analytics Lead, you will be part of a team dedicated to helping mobile app developers grow their business using Google products and services. You will advise clients on creative optimization strategies that will help them achieve their user acquisition goals, serve as a creative optimization expert and advocate for mobile app developers within Google. In this position, you will partner with our sales team to provide clients with creative analyses and insights across AdMob, Search, YouTube and Universal App Campaigns (UAC). You will set strategic objectives and take an analytical approach to creative optimization, cultivate relationships with key strategic clients in your region, develop creative best practices, define and prioritize growth opportunities and collaborate with regional cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Develop a scalable data infrastructure to determine ad copy/creative best practices across the Google ecosystem.
  • Partner with data science / machine learning teams across Google to build predictive models on creative performance.
  • Grow Google client investment by improving creative performance across Google products.
  • Work within a team that supports mobile apps and educate customers on the opportunities within them.
  • Thrive in forming cross-functional relationships with other stakeholders in Engineering teams across Google.


Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience within media or advertising
  • Experience leading quantitative work streams involving spreadsheet software and SQL
  • Experience driving conversations with senior stakeholders (either internally or with clients/customers)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistics in Sales and Marketing contexts, direct experience designing and executing A/B tests
  • Deep understanding of the mobile app developer ecosystem, its key metrics and performance drivers
  • Experience providing deep analytical and/or product support to sales teams
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional projects, especially at the intersection of Sales/Marketing and Product/Engineering
  • Strong presentation skills, with a knack for telling stories with data
