Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile and collaborative. You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google Cloud program overall is kept on the cutting edge.

 

The Revenue Acceleration [RevX] team is focused on boosting the revenue growth of Google Cloud online sales using quantitative revenue programs. These revenue programs combine data science, workflow solutions and key sales levers (like comp models) that drive long-term customer growth and retention.

 

The RevX Data Architecture and Governance Lead will partner cross functionally to design, build and govern a data platform for Google Cloud Sales and Marketing. Data quality is a critical responsibility - requiring the lead to manage a team of contractors, instrument measurements & define strategies to improve data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Google Cloud business data architecture and governance. Construct a holistic view of the data infrastructure needed to run the business and collaborate with GTS to incorporate that into their roadmap.
  • Develop a long term vision for creating a cloud-wide reporting infrastructure.
  • Lead a team responsible for driving improvements in customer data quality. Instrument quality metrics and define a strategy to address priority issues. Manage a team of data quality vendors to execute against your strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to define a 3rd party data acquisition strategy to support business needs (eg. contact, account enrichment). Take responsibility for designing the data ingestion architecture.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working with Master Data Management, ETL, data architecture and system integration.
  • Experience leading large teams and cross functional organizations.
  • Experience designing technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in designing/building sales/marketing data platforms
  • Experience managing and overseeing vendors, contractors and temps.
