Job Details

As Email Marketing Manager you will be part of the Growth team at Weebly, and have a significant, direct impact on the growth of the business. You will be managing our customer database while developing and executing campaigns to help activate, monetize, and retain customers across their lifecycle.

Weebly has over 30 million registered users, adding close to 1 million new users each month, which means you’ll have a big enough database to do some really cool segmentation and testing. You will play an integral role in using our data to help our customers be more successful and driving business outcomes in the U.S. and International markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead user and customer database for Marketing campaigns
  • Develop segmentation and testing strategies to drive higher rates of customer success and monetization using email, in-product triggers, and inbound/outbound call center
  • Work closely with Analytics and Data Science teams to ensure integration and accuracy of data from various sources into the Marketing database
  • Analyze campaign results and make recommendations based on testing
  • Coordinate campaign development and reporting across Marketing, Product, Finance and Analytic teams
  • Lead the collection of data and processes to track and measure interactions between our customers and Weebly throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Create, build and maintain a robust and reusable segmentation and trigger strategy for acquisition, nurture, retention and up/cross sell
  • Manage the day to day operation and partner relationship with our ESP

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years hands-on experience in database marketing at scale similar to Weebly
  • Experience working with an email service provider (Responsys a plus) and delivering triggered messages and offers in-product
  • Solid understanding of customer experience programs and communications across channels including email, in-product and through call centers
  • Ability to develop and drive testing strategies that involve creative targeting and A/B and multivariate testing
  • Hyper-analytical and passionate about segmentation and testing
  • A self-starter who is results-driven
  • Someone who thrives in an environment where you’re asked to juggle strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
  • Expertise with Excel required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
