At Chevron we are Leading with Architecture to deploy high value services, reduce costs and remove complexity from the IT Portfolio. The Enterprise Architecture team is looking for dynamic leaders to contribute to strategic investments in the Upstream business capabilities using next generation technologies (e.g. Cloud, Data Science, Analytics and IIoT...)


Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

The Upstream EA is responsible for enterprise architecture design (processes, applications, information and technology) to plan, organize, govern and enable strategic investment road mapping for Business Enabling assets.

  • Development of strategies associated to teams' area of responsibility
  • Development of Target Architectures and Asset Lifecycle Plan
  • Leading governance processes for identification, approval and management of standards
  • Application of architecture processes during project development (UPAP)


Required Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other Technical degree.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to develop plans with clear, achievable goals; generate buy-in and alignment from key stakeholders; engage and motivate others to contribute their best.
  • Understand EA Frameworks, architecture processes and IT Standards (technology, application, information).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional disciplines related to Upstream. Candidate must have understanding of the Upstream Value chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across cultural, functional and geographic areas to plan, facilitate technology strategy development.
  • Minimum of 1 year in enterprise architecture, technology strategy and technology management.


Relocation Options

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
