  • Ability to derive insights from structured and unstructured data and make strategic recommendations to team members and to the client.
  • 5-8+ years of experience focused on marketing and/or sales for a major consultancy or in industry
  • Strong quantitative mindset combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional project management and presentation skills
  • Outstanding people development and management skills; ability to lead junior team members and help guide their careers
  • Demonstrated experience providing intellectual and task leadership on complex projects
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment, think on your feet, and respond with confidence and creativity
  • Business development and B2B sales experience preferred
  • MBA or MS+ with concentration in quantitative discipline - Stats, Math, Comp Sci, Engineering from a top-tier university preferred (not required)

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in SAS and R coding, marketing analytics and business intelligence, consulting, and/or analytics to join MarketBridge. As a consultant, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to help our Fortune 1000 clients improve marketing and sales strategies for ongoing programs, tactic and strategy optimization, segmentation and targeting, report design and development as well as overall analysis of challenging business problems.

You will be responsible for leading teams that execute our clients’ ongoing marketing programs, design B2B and B2C customer measurement solutions, and deliver data-driven business insights. In addition to project work, you will also be expected to contribute to the creation of intellectual property, internal team-building, as well as and surface new project opportunities with existing business development. Successful employees at MarketBridge have the ability to learn new concepts quickly, stay abreast of advances in marketing technology and related fields, and apply their wide-ranging experience to creatively solve our clients’ business problems.

The job responsibilities include: 

  • Data Manipulation & Analysis: Work with project team to understand, manipulate and analyze client and market data using various tools, which include: SAS, R, SQL Server, BI tools such as SSRS or Tableau, and statistical programs such as Python. Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Strategic Analysis with Actionable Recommendations: Contribute to project work by combining creative problem solving with analytical rigor to drive actionable insights. Representative project work includes, but is not limited, to customer lifecycle strategy and execution, product/offer mix, customer segmentation and statistical modeling, media/channel performance (heavy in digital performance), tactic performance, marketing attribution and ROI modeling,  and financial analysis. Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis
  • Project Management: Own and manage the high-quality execution of individual projects. End-to-end project management will include roadmap design, management of the project team and plan, and development and presentation of final deliverables.
  • People & Team Leadership: Be comfortable managing up to C-Suite leadership, as well as motivating, Motivate, developing, and challenginge all members of project teams to exceed client expectations. Provide value-added thinking and mentorship to ensure junior team members develop over time. and are satisfied.
  • Client Relations: Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis while collaborating with internal client team members. Partner with client teams to define project requirements, develop hypotheses, gather data, brainstorm alternatives, and generate recommendations.
  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts through client relationship management, opportunity identification, support, and ownership, and proposal or statement of work support and development.
  • Firm Citizenship: Contribute to making the firm a positive and productive place to work. (From writing white papers to interviewing candidates, the opportunities for firm citizenship are significant and varied. You will be expected to dive in to at least one role in your first year.) 

We typically work in teams of two to six people. Successfully working in a team, while maintaining a strong personal work ethic, is essential for success at MarketBridge.
