ADAS Software Autocoding Engineer - Ford

In our DAT2 (Driver Assistance Technologies 2) program, Ford's Safety Electronics team designs and develops hardware and functional models that provide Best in Class behavior for features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist and 360 Camera Systems.


• Lead the autocoding of ADAS feature models
• Make the Simulink models implementation ready and meet the modeling guidelines
• Manage the variables, calibrations, and interface elements of the model, including the data dictionary
• Make the models AUTOSAR compliant
• Generate the work products for implementation (e.g. ARXML files, C code), build the binaries and verify on the embedded hardware
• Support the verification of the autocoded feature models on the Ford bench and Hardware in the Loop system


Basic Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years' experience in software development in C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink
• 2+ years of experience of embedded hardware and software design & development
• 1+ year of experience with AUTOSAR

Preferred Qualifications

• Control algorithm development using Matlab, Simulink or equivalent
• Experience with development of automotive software
• Experience with Git, Github, Jira, Agile, Misra C\\C++, ISO 26262
• Experience with Software architecture, modular application development with using Models and/or software, production algorithm
