The Economic Justice Program (EJP) objective is to increase economic opportunity for the marginalized in ways that promote inclusive, open, and prosperous societies.   • Generate, capture, and organize information using established templates and knowledge management methods, as well as develop new models;
  • Analyze thematic, portfolio, and operational information using data from a wide range of sources and identify possible impacts on the concerned program, project, or activity; produce materials for use within the program and wider audiences;
  • Recommend improvement to collection mechanisms and reporting formats;
  • Work collaboratively with two EJP units to process contracts through compliance and legal, from beginning to end, providing technical guidance to colleagues;
  • Work with EJP’s Program Administrative Officer responsible for budget management; provide light-touch oversight to the Strategy & Impact unit and Special Initiatives units’ budgets; track budgets while working within established budgeting systems, with limited supervision, and bring variances to the attention of senior colleagues;
  • Coordinate and update website and intranet content and other ad hoc tasks for/of/related to internal communications, in compliance with GDPR frameworks.

Closing date: 22 May 2020.

We aim to build an inclusive workforce that is reflective of the populations we support, and actively seek applications from those who are marginalized and underrepresented. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants and colleagues with disabilities.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in database and data management for quantitative and qualitative information including data cleaning, quality control, coding, formatting, and application; experience with Salesforce or similar systems strong plus;
  • Familiarity with Knowledge Management practices, approaches, methods, and software; previous experience applying these methods professionally and/or with Box and Slack a strong plus;

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to connect details to larger needs, trends, and ideas;
  • Experience navigating systems and processes in complex organizations or institutions ideal.
