Manager, Data Analysis & Insights - The Coca-Cola Company

This role will support and lead various financial data analytics, predictive modelling, process optimization initiatives along with building the right visuals to unleash the business insights. The individual will also be responsible for the operational weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual closing process for volume. The role will perform UC Volume Reporting to several stakeholders such as Investor Relations, Growth Organization, Controller’s Group and Executive Leadership Team.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of advanced analytical methods by extracting and mining vast amounts of data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for solving business problems or finding opportunities for profitable business growth.
  • Provide expertise on statistical and mathematical concepts and inspire the adoption of advanced analytics and data science across the organization.
  • Leverage technology to increase efficiency and productivity throughout Controller’s Group and act as a subject matter expert for information platforms and analytical/technical tools
  • Provide expertise on predictive modelling using the right correlation between the external macroeconomic indicators and Company KPIs to achieve the best results.
  • Volume analysis & various weekly, monthly reporting to Executive Leadership Team, Growth Organization, Controller’s Group and Investor Relations.
  • Compass, NSR tool and Global Case Sales user support, security access approval and review

Requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in relative quantitative fields (Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Math or Business) preferred and master’s degree preferred.

Related Work Experience

  • 5+ years’ IT/Finance experience mainly in data analysis or equivalent; ideally in a CPG company
  • Thorough knowledge of statistics and advanced data analysis/modeling skills (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, machine Learning, AI, etc.)
  • Experience working with big data platforms, statistical programming languages, like R or Python or SAS, database querying language like SQL, HIVE to increase efficiency by improving accuracy and reducing turnaround time.
  • Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI to deliver output to the Executive Leadership Team along with Groups/BUs and help them make data-driven decisions and improve productivity

Functional Skills

  • Advanced Analytics: Evangelize the adoption of data-driven insights within Controller’s Group by leading the development of advanced analytical methods, mining vast amounts of data in the data lake to provide actionable insights for solving business problems or finding opportunities for profitable growth
  • Technology: Leverage Technology (i.e. big data platform and analytical tools such as R, Python, SAS etc.) to increase efficiency and productivity throughout Controller’s Group by increasing output accuracy, reducing turnaround time and delivering output to the broader business community using data visualization tools such as Tableau & Power BI.
  • Business Understanding & KO knowledge: Ability to connect data centric performance analysis with business/financial results.
  • Communication: Create and communicate the output of the advanced analytics with recommendations to influence the decision making of ELT & Field operations.
  • Consultant and SME: Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert back to the organization (Controller’s Group and all relevant stakeholders) on GCS, NSR tool, ETL tools (i.e. Alteryx), SQL/Cloud databases and visualization.
